Artur Wołek is Co-President of the IUS Council and Professor at the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Kraków. A political scientist specializing in political systems and public administration, he co-authored Poland’s landmark 1998 local government reform. He collaborates with the Center for Political Thought (Ośrodek Myśli Politycznej), one of Poland’s leading conservative think tanks, and writes widely on constitutional design, decentralization, and party systems. His academic and public work examines how institutional choices shape accountability and effective governance in post-transition democracies.
