Fryderyk Zoll is a Member of the IUS Council and Professor at the Jagiellonian University and the University of Osnabrück. A leading scholar of private and comparative law, he belongs to numerous international expert bodies in his field. In 2013 he received the Medal of Merit for the Justice System. Since 2015, he has been a co-organizer of the Committee for the Defense of Democracy (KOD), a civic movement advocating for the rule of law in Poland. His work bridges academic research, legal practice, and public engagement.
